IN-BETWEEN EXERCISES: All or Something!

A 5-Minute Abdominal Workout can fill in the gaps between sessions.

We are always pumping exercise with patients. We are physical beings and without movement and exertion, we can’t access full vibrant health. Our lifestyles tend to promote an “all or nothing” philosophy. Sometimes if we can’t go for a whole hour to the gym, we don’t go. Instead, try these in-between exercises: All or Something! This 5 minute abdominals video will keep your core abdominals firming in between sessions.

A new 5-Minute Standing Abdominal Set

I know you want to get going quickly and easily. This is then a shorter version of the “7 Minute Ab Exercises” from our blog from September 2023. It is a 5 minute “standing” abdominal set. This is a way to burn your abdominals – core musculature – from every angle without ever getting onto the floor. You can do this.

This guy has some good energy. He moves around quite a bit, so If you have pain with any of these, it’s something we can work on.  Take it slow the first time you do this, or let’s try it out in the clinic.

If you have difficulty with any of these, or concerns, and need me to show you simulations to get through some of these exercises, let me know in advance and let’s talk at your next appointment. 

Remember, do not do an exercise if it is increasing or causing pain, or if you have any health concerns. It’s ok to stop, call the clinic or even to call 9-1-1 if you get into trouble. Come in to the clinic and we will supervise a set, or get you the proper setup or referral to be safe.  Set up that appointment here.

Is Blue Heron Chiropractic masking for the COVID-19 Pandemic at this time?

While the staff and the doctor will be masked, your mask is not required.  Staff is always vaccinated and boosted, and so even if we get this, we won’t be gone long and we can get back to caring for you. We remain proactive for folks who are immune compromised, have “Long Covid”, or need special considerations.
