Since we are intentionally “integrated” with other types of care, we regularly receive referrals for treatment or consultation from MDs (Doctors of Medicine), Surgeons, Osteopaths (DOs), NDs (Naturopathic Physicians), LAcs (Acupuncturists), Dentists (DMDs) and other DCs (Doctors of Chiropractic). Practitioners may wish to refer patients with issues outside of their normal case type, such as work injuries, car accident victims, or patients with musculoskeletal issues, such as low back or neck pain. Other Doctors of Chiropractic often send us referrals to confirm diagnoses or expand on treatments they are not set up for, or case types they do not cover – for example, with Workers Compensation. We will also make referrals when a patient falls outside of our area of expertise or our scope of practice.

See also our information on pre-surgical, intra-surgical or post-surgical consultations here.

Other practitioners in private practices and large hospitals have appreciated our modern, integrated, evidence-based approach to care as the main reason they refer patients for wide-ranging issues, including:

  • Headaches
  • Migraines
  • Neck Pain
  • Shoulder Pain
  • Hip Pain
  • Back Pain
  • Neck, Back or Spine-related Trauma
