I am writing today about hydration – staying hydrated means drinking enough pure water. Don’t make a mistake – water with “stuff in it” is not the same as pure water. Without getting into all the nitty-grittys, let’s just say “Keep it Clear”. I am hoping to remind you to drink at least eight (8) glasses of water a day. Water. Not Soda. Definitely not diet soda. And watch out for waters with “stuff” in them. They were designed to sell, not to hydrate you.
If you weigh 150 pounds, you need at least 75 ounces of water a day. Every day your body loses fluids through urine and sweat. If you get the fluid/water replacement issue right, you have made a valuable step towards helping your body’s recuperative and health-supporting powers.
