We accept payment on the date of service in Cash, Checks, Visa, or Mastercard. We can accept most insurance that has chiropractic coverage. Some plans are restricted to particular groups of doctors (PPO) and I am on many of these plans. Some have deductibles (you should know about this, since it's your insurance). Some groups are HMO plans, and I am also on many of them. We do bill insurance for you as a courtesy, and accept your co-pay or percentage. We can bill all Motor Vehicle and Worker's Compensation cases.
We offer SimpleCare (www.simplecare.com) as a means of controlling the cost
of services in cases where there is no insurance or a high deductible. Simplecare
can fix the price of regular visits to $38, $48, or $68 depending upon whether
your visit is Short, Basic, or Long. New patient visits are always "Long", and
after that, whether a visit is Short, Basic or Long depends on how complicated
your problem or visit is, how much work I have to do as a doctor, and how
much documentation is required afterwards. Some visits cannot be Simplecare
visits, and in some cases, it is to your benefit to satisfy your deductible.
However, SimpleCare typically helps us "tame" insurance problems by offering
the same discount to everyone, legally and consistently. Simplecare visits are
paid in full on the date of service, no exceptions.
The cost of a one-year SimpleCare membership is inexpensive and we have ways
to make it even more affordable. Please call for more info.
If you have insurance, we will attempt to verify your insurance coverage
for you. It is your responsibility to know your insurance benefits.
When contacting us, please have your insurance info available.
The following are a list of some of the carriers we are on plans
with and/or regularly bill. Many carrier names are included under others
in "umbrella" fashion. If you do not see your carrier in the list
below, contact the front desk at (503) 280-9759.
THIS IS NOT THE ONLY LIST OF CARRIERS WE BILL. THIS LIST MAY ALSO NEED UPDATING. PLEASE CALL AND ASK.

Some insurance plans may allow you to pay out-of-pocket to get a
discount on costs due to elimination of paperwork, and then
you bill the case to insurance yourself. We do not neccesarily recommend
this.
We can give you itemized receipts for Flexible Spending Plans.
If you expect that we will bill your case to insurance, you should
be prepared to pay your co-pay at your appointment.
Motor Vehicle and Worker's Comp cases have no co-pay.
